What if you told a cop that your old muffler got punctured when you dropped it over? Sometimes you have to change the muffler. Sounds like a good excuse to me for putting on another muff.
I purchased a jardine. It is considerably louder than the old stock pipe (I discovered that clamp tightness has an impact on sound quality too, muhahaha. But if i had to do it over again
i would look to a muffler that is more along the lines of a tweaked harley pipe.)
Anyway, if you see a cop or are around mothers pushing kids in carts, et cetera, it's best then to cut throttle entirely if possible and tip toe beyond their range. So far, so good - no tickys.
